WHERE THE LAND MEETS THE SEA, WE’RE THERE.

It’s easy to talk of white sand, blue seas, and swaying palms. But the right beach holiday is so much more memorable than any picture postcard. We’re talking of Zanzibar’s scent of nutmeg and clove. The overwater villas of the Maldives’ atolls. Or the dramatic, mountain-framed coastline of French Polynesia. These are the details that make a place unique.

The Caribbean

A smaller sea tucked against the body of the Americas, the Caribbean is a place of rich culture and perfect sandy white beaches. From the Cadillac’s of old Havana to the exotic heights of the balmy Piton Mountains. 7,000 islands, each – seemingly – with their own stories, music, culture and appetite. And the beaches? You know it already: soft, tropical, hazy and bright. We’ve never been more welcome to see the sea.

Turks and Caicos

The Turks and Caicos Islands have some of the planet’s most otherworldly turquoise water and arguably the finest, powdery sand beaches, and are surrounded by the globe’s third-largest coral reef. While their western neighbors of the Bahamas went mass with their Las Vegas style resorts, the Turks went class, quietly opening a string of luxurious resorts in the last decade.

ST LUCIA

St Lucia is the Caribbean Island that has something for everybody. While the beaches may be smaller than others on this, you’ll have your pick of charming coves and private shorelines backed by lush mountains. A favorite destination of some of the world’s rich and famous - this sun-soaked tropical paradise has a bay perfect for yacht (and people) watching, a mountain for mid-level hiking and panoramic views, volcanic thermal baths, and a rich local culture. St. Lucia is perfect for travelers that want to tuck away in an all-inclusive as well as those that want to see, feel, and touch the history of the island.

Bahamas

With countless beaches to choose from on 700 islands, it's easy for you to find your perfect spot in the Bahamas. From massive resorts like Atlantis on Paradise Island to privately owned islands, the variety of beaches here are seemingly endless. Pink Sand Beach on Harbour Island will wow you with its rosy hue, while The Exumas will bring excitement to your vacation with their wild swimming pigs. If you're after underwater caves and diving excursions - you guessed it - there’s an island for that too.

Europe

If you’re craving the warmth of the sun, the salt of the sea and as many Aperol Spritzes as you can stomach, then set your sights on one of the many popular beach destinations in Europe. Sip sparkling wine on the wild Istrian coast of Croatia or catch every sunset on your island-hopping voyage of the Greek islands. If you’re in need of a tan or a few hours with your toes in the sand, European beaches are a terrific addition to your next Europe trip.

Greece

It’s hard to resist the Mediterranean charm of Greece, where you’ll be spoiled with warm waters that range in color from turquoise and emerald to dark blue. It’s one of the most quintessential beach getaways imaginable, and the Greek Islands remain arguably the best place to go island hopping. From islands and beaches known for their parties to others that have remnants of ancient ruins, there will be a spot for everyone. Santorini’s beautiful white Cycladean landscapes. Mykonos’ tucked away beaches at sunset. Corfu’s hidden cliff side beaches.

Not to mention the other 207 lesser visited but equally beautiful islands with immaculate beaches and unique natural backdrops. A trip to Greece should be on everyone’s list - maybe twice.

Italy

From the sky blue vertically-striped umbrellas to mountains rising up from the ocean with a canvas of rainbow-colored villas - Italian beaches need no introduction. Italy has 2,850 miles of coastlines and each region offers something unique to the next. From rocky beaches shot in Hollywood films in Tuscany to untamed, wild hidden beaches in Sardinia, there’s a place for those seeking a thrill and others seeking isolation. Wherever you go you’ll have all the access to Aperol Spritzes and fresh mozzarella as you bath under the Italian sun.

SPAIN

If you were to Google “best beaches in the Europe”, you’d might be surprised by how many Spain has to offer. Said to have the most captivating coastlines in the world, Spain is home to cliff-edged landscapes and emerald green waters, quaint fishing villages, desert-island-like sand dunes, arguably the best beach side nightlife, and many more unique attributes. From the acclaimed culinary region of Basque to the Atlantic tip of Galicia down to the numerous islands on the Mediterranean - Spain is the perfect both as a beach destination and as a break from the metropolitan cities of Madrid and Barcelona.

Portugal

Perhaps the most overlooked warm-climate destination on the continent, Portugal is certainly one of the most beautiful. Its golden sand beaches, coastlines characterized by jagged limestone cliffs and grottos, and bountiful beginner-friendly surf schools make it one of the most unique European beach destinations. Picking the most beautiful beach in Portugal is like splitting hairs, but we have a few places we think are especially unique to this country. Portuguese beaches are almost as overlooked as Portuguese wine – as if you needed another reason to visit.

Croatia & Montenegro

Croatia and Montenegro are not the usual destinations of Americans in Europe. But they are the favorite of founder Jonny. He enjoys the Istrian coast so much that he even moved to Croatia in 2019. Full of jagged cliffs with a mountainous backdrop, Croatia and Montenegro are dotted with small Roman-style beach towns. Home to some of the most unique 20th century history in Europe, Croatia and Montenegro transport you to a different world within the comfort and excitement of European culture. While we’d never pass up on the opportunity to sail this coastline by boat, by land you’ll have access to serene National Parks, up-and-coming natural wines, and majestic, fortified cities.

Indian Ocean

You’ll find literally hundreds of islands, chains, atolls and archipelagos across the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. The Maldives, Seychelles and Thailand are just a drop in Indian Ocean (literally). Vibrant birds, romantic rice paddies, misty hills and dense jungles frame beaches of delicate sand and gentle skies. History, spice, trade and spirits are all interconnect across these incredible landscapes.

Maldives

Located on the equator towards the south of India and stretching over 500 miles, the Maldives allows you to be alone in the world on the beach. You can spend a week doing what you want, contemplating the sea and the horizon, sunbathing on the stunning sandy beaches, exploring its underwater wildlife, or enjoying its unrivaled luxury resorts. There are not many world class destinations where you can find your inner peace like in the Maldives. It's a top destination of choice.

Seychelles

Mother Nature was extremely generous when she created the archipelago of the Seychelles, otherwise known as “The Land of Perpetual Summer” as it rarely drops below 75. Uninhabited for most of human history, Seychelles not only has glistening powdery-soft sand beaches and stunning turquoise water, but it also is an untouched sanctuary exhibiting some of the rarest flora, fauna, and wildlife on earth. The islands boast such a unique natural beauty that it was even once believed to be the Garden Eden – likely why The Clooneys, The Beckhams, and Prince William and Kate Middleton all honeymooned here. Anse Source D'Agent exemplifies the unique Seychellois beach formula, defined by a translucent lagoon (perfect for snorkeling) and elephant-sized granite boulders that seem tossed onto the shore by ancient giants.

Thailand

So, you’ve seen enough “sugar white sand” and “crystal clear waters” by now. Thailand’s tropical beaches are renowned for their beauty, but what makes them different? It’s the dramatic scenery. You’ve probably seen picture of Thai beaches and mistaken them for an advertisement for the second Avatar film. Think curving beaches punctuated by towering creviced karsts - limestone formations – hovering over an emerald lagoon. Or a mile-long stretch of beach with spectacular views of limestone mounds abruptly emerging from the sea. It’s otherworldly. It’s majestic. There’s no place quite like it.

Kenya

More private than the usual destinations, the Lamu archipelago off the coast of Kenya is quite unique. One can walk in the calm of the town of Lamu (where there are no cars), admire a sunset on the water or go to see a sea turtle nest hatching in the early morning. It’s going to be the trendy honeymoon destination of 2025 – you heard it here first.

South Pacific

It would take years to visit each and every island and atoll of the South Pacific; that vast ocean between California and Papua New Guinea. This is a diver’s paradise. A place of coral reefs and gardenia trees. Remote, off-grid. The mysteries of Easter Island. The spiritualism of Hawaii. When Magellan first crossed its reach in 1521, he named it the “Peaceful Sea.” It carries that name to this day.

Fiji

Whatever your idea of tropical paradise is, Fiji probably exceeds it. Honeymooners usually flock to Fiji for its array of picture-perfect landscapes, where you can enjoy its turquoise waters, stunningly white sand, and immaculate coral reefs. This tropical paradise boasts 333 islands and over 500 islets that are perfect for soaking up the sunshine. Fiji is ideal for sunbathing on a secluded beach, but the there’s also another magnificent world to explore under its waters.

French polynesia

With 118 islands dotted in the mighty blue South Pacific Ocean, French Polynesia has, as you probably expect, some incredible beaches. Just 12 miles long, the lush little slipper of land called Bora Bora lies in French Polynesia’s most mesmerizing lagoon edged by fine white sandy shores. Luxurious over-water bungalows nestled over the world’s most beautiful lagoon with a tropical backdrop make Bora Bora a top destination for the any traveler.

Hawaii

Besides its near mystical, natural scenery (think active volcanoes, towering cliffs, and dense jungle), the much-coveted Hawaiian Islands also boast some of the best beaches in the world. Some built around the high drama of intense waves crashing against razor-sharp lava rocks; some so remote that they are only accessible by helicopter or landing watercraft; and some are so hidden and gorgeous that they just need to remain a secret.
