THe Food

Years after your trip ends, you’ll likely remember 2 things - a person you connected with and a especially amazing dish you had. We’d like to consider ourselves as foodies, but that term has become saturated over the years. So maybe let’s re-phrase that, we live and breathe for the next best meal. The best pasta or pizza in Italy, falafel in Jordan, schnitzel in Germany, or even the best (and only) place you should try haggis in Scotland - we’ve eaten there.

THe Wine

There are few things more exciting (and intimidating) than the new selections of wines you can try in your travels. The choices are endless, and we truly believe there is a wine out there for everyone - both red and white. Lucky for you, our founder is a Sommelier and wine is at the heartbeat of what we do at Travel Haus. If you don’t like wine, we’ll have a suggestion we think you’d like. Do you love red wine, but want to experience something beyond Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, or Pinot Noir? We have a few things in mind. More of a sparkling wine kind of person? There are incredible, less known options beyond Champagne and Prosecco.

We have a high degree of specialty in wine travel in the Americas and Europe - by land or by river.

We travel for the food and wine, but we stay for the people. What you see on your plate or taste in your glass is for more than its appearance or taste, it represents the stories of family lineages, geopolitics and wars, and the land it has all happened on. You’ll get to hear the stories of Napoleon and the fragmented vineyards of Burgundy, American WWI soldiers and their accidental innovation of a now classic Italian dish, or how a winemakers family lineage has been determined by their vineyards. A country’s food and wine tell a story of its people - and we love a good story.
